Pillar kit

The system of fixing the pillars is different from the usual system.
There pillars are specifically and exclusively available at Buffet Crampon.
They are not screwed but glued and clipped.
If you need to change or replace a pillar, we advise you to use the repair kit that has been especially developed for this reason and proceed as following:

1. Delicately heat the pillar to melt the glue.
2. Move or remove the pillar with an adapted clamp.
3. Use only the glue supplied in the repair kit.
4. Put the glue in the bottom of the empty pillar space on the clarinet.
5. Reposition the new pillar and adjust it by hand, verifying that a little bit of the glue gets up to the brim.
6. Let it dry.

Lacquer kit

The treatment of the wood of the E11 FRANCE clarinet involves the application of a lacquer.
You have the possibility to purchase this lacquer at Buffet Crampon exclusively, under the reference number F33849.
To redo a lacquer, we recommend you to proceed as following:

1. Sand the spot that needs to be relacquered with sandpaper with a texture of at least 400 grit.
2. Apply a thin layer of lacquer by using a paint pad in flannel or a brush.
3. Let it dry for 15 minutes.
